Trouble Brewing

The bloggers didn't care too much for the flickr people crashing their party at The Highlander a few weeks back! The flickr people were just exploring new territory and trying to make "friends." Had there not been plenty of beer to go around, something serious may have happened.

Well the beer has worn off and now there is trouble brewing. A gauntlet has been thrown and there is now going to be a Rumble! It's going to be big! REAL BIG!

A flickr/blogger face off!

The flickr people are starting to talk trash about the bloggers and the sabers are rattling. Blogger gang signs are being flashed and muscles flexed.

Rumor has it August 6th there will be a big show down between the two! Mark you calenders for August 6th from 7pm to 10pm. Details to come! Stay tuned. See if you can find the hint.

Striatic does America

This is an open invite to flickrers and bloggers to meet some fun and interesting people. A fellow flickrite is touring America (details here) and is making a stop in Atlanta.

This is more than one person, though. Striatic is traveling with a friend Emily Ann. Along the way they are meeting people in various cities at functions known as meet-ups. (Similar to the APWBWGTTD group here in Atlanta).

Well the interesting thing about the Atlanta stop, is they will have an entourage with them. THAT'S RIGHT! They're picking up followers (Zen, fubuki, ocellnuri, tsmyther and Old Shoe Woman) in the Carolina's and some are even coming up from South Georgia for the event.

So, here are the details:

Thursday, June 23rd at 7:00 pm at the Front Page News in Little 5 Points.

Bloggers are welcome to join in the festivities and spread the word. Many people on flickr also have blogs. Being part of flickr is a big plus though.
